Please apply in writing to: Mr Brian Prentice, Trustee, Steddings, Chalk Pit Lane, Litton Cheney LITTON CHENEY ALLOTMENT SOCIETY The Litton Cheney Allotment Society was established in February 2008 and land was made available to villagers at the south end of the village playing fields.   As of January 2011 we have 12 plots (including one half sized plot and one double plot) and all are currently occupied.  The plots are relatively small (most are 10mx 8m) but plenty big enough to produce fresh produce for a small family, and it is a lovely spot to work in. Three families share the chicken run with up to 9 hens.  This year we have been letting them out to roam for a few hours most days, and they make happy companions as they potter and fuss around.   If you want to go on the waiting list for a plot please contact Alison Dunbar, Secretary, on 01308 482376 (evenings) or email dunbar.alison@googlemail.com.
